  • Currently: PhD Researcher in International Relations, Near East University, Nicosia, Cyprus.
  • 2023: Master's in International Relations (Thesis Title: Soft Power in International Politics - China's Strategy as a Model), Near East University, Nicosia, Cyprus.
  • 1995: Bachelor's in Kurdish Language and Literature, College of Arts, Salahaddin University, Erbil.

Professional Experience and Government Positions

  • Currently: Advisor at the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region.
  • 2022 – 2023: Advisor for Yazidi Affairs at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Kurdistan Regional Government.
  • 2008 – 2022: Director General of Yazidi Affairs at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Kurdistan Regional Government.
  • 1997 – 2008: Teacher of Kurdish Language and Literature at Malta High School and the Institute of Fine Arts in Duhok.

Journalistic and Media Work

  • Founder and Editor-in-Chief of (Sot Lalish) newspaper in Kurdish and Arabic (founded 2003).
  • Founder and License Holder of (Spi) newspaper in Kurdish (founded 2012).
  • Former Editor-in-Chief of (Lalish) magazine issued by the Lalish Cultural Center.
  • Worked as an editor and then in charge of two pages in (Peyman) newspaper (1997-2003).
  • Member of the editorial board of (peyv) literary magazine.
  • Writer of daily columns in newspapers (Sot Lalish, Peyman, Evro, Waar, Neumagazin).
  • Preparation of television and radio programs: (Cocktail), (çira), and (mehder).

Civil Society Work

  • 2015 - Currently: Founder and Executive Director of (Damdam) Foundation for Humanitarian Relief in Erbil (Consultative Status with the United Nations).
  • 2004 – 2005: رئيس مركز لالش الثقافي والاجتماعي.
  • 2005: One of the founders and Vice President of Duhok Cultural Center.
  • 2004 – 2005: Lecturer at (Concordia) Organization for Peace and Democracy.
